There’s a pit full of foam cubes children can jump into, an accident waiting to happen as it’s easy to not see if children are already in there when you jump in. It’s all a bit of a free for all on the trampolines. Also you have to pay for trampolining socks at £2 a pair.
The majority of the equipment has a lower height limit of 1.2 metres so if your child is under this there is 2 areas of standard trampolines they can go on. Parents were just stood around leaning on posts etc anywhere they could. On getting into the jumping area there’s nowhere by the trampolines for spectators of younger children to sit and watch, I’d taken a 6 and 8 year old. This is a good thing, some of the information is high level for young guests as it’s so long. You have to watch a safety video first, we accessed this as we queued, from their website, as it’s 5+ minutes long. We then had to queue again and missed the first 10 minutes of our session. We hadn’t seen any signage asking us to do this nor did any staff member manage the queue to make sure visitors knew to do this first. Queued for a good 15 minutes, got to the desk to pay, the girl on the desk was really put out that we hadn’t signed a waiver on some small iPads on the other side of the room first.
We decided to go anyway as the children really wanted to go, I couldn’t see how to book myself on as a spectator online so turned up to book on the day.
We would have expected something more nutritional and inclusive for lunch but the staff really weren’t bothered. One of our children has a dairy allergy so I phoned to see what the food option would be, I was offered some chips. Overall it was an ‘ok’ experience and the children enjoyed trampolining however it was very standard and could have been much better.įlip out offer a family deal where a family (in our case 3 children, one adult) can jump for 2 hours and get a pizza and jug of juice.
